Horus and Set

A few weeks ago, I had a dream that I was at a flea market. On one of the tables was a wooden statue of Horus that I wanted to purchase. As I picked it up, an older woman approached me and said, “Set is a jealous god.” I looked to my side and saw a statue of Set on another table. I thought this was an interesting dream and jotted it down in my dream journal.

A few days later, I injured one of my eyes in a freak accident that landed me in the hospital. Apparently, I had lacerated the lacrimal caruncle (that pink nodule in the inner corner of the eye). My vision was extremely fuzzy in that eye for several days. I had to use medicated eye drops for awhile; fortunately, nothing serious like surgery.

It popped into my head that the dream and the injury had some connection — that I connected with Horus and Set in my dream in such a way that it physically manifested an aspect of their battle in my waking life, as it is said that Horus lost an eye during that battle. I am not going to go so far as to say it was an initiation of sorts. But it was definitely an interesting coincidence.

I recently heard from a very well-known psychic that I know that this Coronavirus situation has something to do with the interplay between Horus and Set, so I have to look into this further.
