Vivid dream I had recently: I was in some Chinese garden with a marble fountain. The marble statue in the center was of two fish, positioned similarly to the symbol of Pisces, but more dynamic. They each had a marble orb that appeared to float just out of reach of their mouths, but it was clearly an illusion that they were floating. I was tending to the flowers, when this couple came in, looking worried and cautious about approaching me. I stopped what I was doing and asked what was wrong, and the woman said the man was sick and stopped being able to speak. I had him lay down at the base of the fountain, and I laid a pitcher on its side with the mouth facing toward me and the bottom nearly pressed against his stomach. I took out a copper rod, kneeled next to him, and passed it over his body several times, and every time I did, the rod would pull down of its own accord as it crossed over his sternum. I changed my position and stood over him with the rod held out straight across from me, over the pitcher and pointing at the place where the rod had dipped over, and then I started gripping the copper rod with all my strength and miming pulling on it like I was drawing in a rope attached to something heavy. Suddenly there was a feeling of something releasing, popping like a plug or a cork, and water started gushing out of the pitcher. Then he got up and looked bright and relieved and was able to talk again. I’m not sure if it’s in any way related to the Oriental spirits, or more a product of what Oriental art and gardens mean to me as a symbol in my subconscious, but I had to share just in case. <3
